Sewing a lovely pair of baggy pants for guys and girls (with free pattern)

Dear community,
in this blog post you can find easy instructions for sewing a lovely pair of baggy pants for guys and girls (with free pattern).

Do you still have some space under the Christmas tree? I’m sure you do! In that case, Keper& Twill has another fun idea for an (extra) gift for your tree.  Specially for Bernina, Keper & Twill developed the BAG-E jeans, a lovely pair of modern baggy pants that is suitable for both tough guys and girls.

The pants are made with cool pockets and have a lowered crotch to give the jeans are comfy, spacious fit. The pants also have a “false zip”. Because the pants are made of stretch fabric,  they don’t need an extra closure, but the  “false zip” provides that little extra touch to these trendsetting pants. The waistband is elastic, which means that children can easily put them on or take them off – the perfect pair of jeans!

So make some room under your Christmas tree, make a lovely cup of tea and get started on this rugged pair of pants. Make sure to visit Keper & Twill’s site regularly, because we will soon have a pattern for this pair of jeans for dads and mums.

I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and creative 2017.

Love,

Monique Helmstrijd

4. d. Stitch the ribbing to the pants. Leave a small opening of 2 cm to draw the elastic through.

Finish the seam with an over-locker or zigzag stitch

  1. f Repeat for the ribbing on the legs. And there you go – you have a pair of baggy jeans!
