Free pattern for a blouson from the “inspiration” (only in March)

This month we provide you with a free pattern for a blouson. Also this month it’s time to be fast again! The pattern is only available until the end of this month (31 March 2020). The download link to the pattern can be found below in the article.

Large rectangular poppers and zips on the sleeve lend a sporty touch to the slighty shiny fabric. The box pleat in the back makes this collarless blouson particularly comfortable.

The sporty blouson is from inspiration issue # 71, the summer issue of our sewing magazine.

After downloading you will have a ZIP file. After extracting this file you will have three PDFs available:

  • Sewing instructions with information on ingredients, cutting and sewing process
  • Pattern in A4 format for the sizes 34 to 48, which you can print out and stick together with your normal printer at home. Make sure that you print the pattern with the setting “original size”. Use the control square on page 1 to check that the printed pattern is the correct size.
  • Cutting pattern in A1 format. You can print this pattern at a printer or copy shop near you. This saves you the time of cutting and gluing it together.

Usually, download files are automatically loaded into the downloads folder, but this depends on the operating system, the device used and your local settings. If you download with your smartphone and cannot find or unzip the file, please try with a desktop computer.

Blouson nähen

Free download: Embroidery for your trousers

Matching the blouson, inspiration # 71 offers the pattern with sewing instructions for a summer jeans. The slightly shortened legs with fringed hem and large flower embroidery are particularly refined. The large embroidery is optimized for the Mega and Jumbo Hoop. The colour of the embroidery has been matched to the colour of the blouson fabric. Trousers and blouson fit together perfectly, but they can be combined with other pieces in many ways.

The free embroidery is also great for giving “old” jeans a second life. You can find the free download of the trousers embroidery on the page, number 7126. There, you will also find more free downloads.

These files are not limited in time, they are still available after March.
