“inspiration” around the clock – our new webshop with patterns

Dear Readers,

Good news! As of late, we have a web shop for our sewing magazine “inspiration”. Would you like to sew a new favorite item or are you looking for instructions for a quick hand-sewn accessory or a decorative piece for your house? Then this shop is the perfect place for you. You can find it at: https://inspiration.bernina.com.

Take a look around – there is lots to discover!

“inspiration” – Sewing Expertise and Sewing Patterns from BERNINA

Our magazine “inspiration” has been around for decades. It contains attractive photo series, detailed and precise sewing instructions, tips and tricks from practical sewing experience, and, of course, two large sheets of sewing patterns. We develop the entire content ourselves in-house. In our studio located in the BERNINA headquarters in Steckborn, you will find projects being created, sewn, and embroidered on a daily basis. This is where the sewing patterns are developed and the photo shoots, translation work, and layout design are organized. Leading the way is Claudia Giesser.

Together the editorial team develops sewing projects that encourage the creative use of textiles. Previously, the magazine was offered exclusively in printed form. It could be obtained from licensed dealers and was shipped to subscribing readers around the world. This continues to be the case. Only now there are more options!

The new online shop is the perfect solution to this problem. When you are in a rush or when you simply want to browse through ideas and patterns from the comfort of your own home, https://inspiration.bernina.com is the right place for you.

If you do not wish to download and glue together the patterns, you can order “inspiration” in print as before or subscribe to the magazine. Both are available via the online shop.

Missed a free download?

Some of you may have noticed the free downloadable sewing patterns that we offer here on the blog once a month. In February it was the pattern for the “Grace” pants. If you missed a download, you can now find the pattern in the online shop.
