Embroidering your own custom lace

The Bernina Bravo really is an all in one package when it comes to embroidering your own custom lace, everything you can imagine is possible.

Embroidery machines are no longer just for corporate logos on caps and T-Shirts.

Let your imagination run wild as there really are no limits on what you can create.

Here we created a one of a kind gown with  custom embroidered Philodendron leaves.

We wanted to create something unique, to make her stand out from the crowd, and we achieved just that.

The leaves were embroidered individually on a few layers of lime green tulle.

This gave it the ability to create a 3D effect, and to stand away from the body.

Once all the leaves were done, they were hand stitched individually, and embellished with crystal beads to create this spectacular dress.

We created this gown for Bonang Matheba when she was attending the wedding of Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel Peters and Tim Tebow.

Here we went with a more detailed romantic feel by creating fern leaves that cascades from the hip and shoulder.

We added small beads of different textures to really give it personality.

Taking embroidery to the next step with the Bernina Bravo is really easy.

Here we created a custom beaded lace for the bride to be.

We wanted to go with a really classical lace, where we started off with an embroidered base.

Once the base was completed we hand stitched pearls onto the base.

Create your own lace by using water soluble backing.

After your lace has dried out, you can hand sew beads to your design to make it extra special

Embroidering your own custom lace is as simple as that.
