HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN MANDALA QUILT

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN TEAL MANDALA QUILT

MY INSPIRATION FOR THIS WORK

A member of one of the quilting groups that I belong to, offered a mandala workshop. Some of my favourite colours are in the turquoise to teal range. I discovered a piece of teal/turquoise ombre fabric and wanted to use the Bernina Q24 to do graffiti quilting on it. Using teal and purple together is also a very good colour combination. The Jinny Beyer border pattern fabric that I found in my fabric stash, was just perfect for this project! Mandala quilts like this one, should not take you longer than a week to create. It is a quick, fun project.
