Advent Calendar 2022 ‒ the 24th door

Dear readers

With this post – the 24th door of the BERNINA Blog Advent Calendar 2022 – I would like to wish you, on behalf of the entire BERNINA team, a very happy holiday season. Enjoy the time with your loved ones, have a good start into the new year, stay healthy and creative! As a thank you for your loyalty, we have a video and a raffle with sensational prizes today.

You can find all information about the raffle further down on this page. But first, let’s see what the BERNINA feet are doing.

Our new Christmas video – plenty of presents for the BERNINA presser feet

Last year we baked at the Feet family. Do you remember? In our new Christmas video, the presser feet and their friend, the pincushion, are overwhelmed with gifts.

Look at what adventures the little guys enjoy between the packages and gift ribbons, and what mischief they are up to!

Spread joy!

Would you like to share the Christmas video on Instagram or Whatsapp or other channels and help us spread a little humour and harmless mischief in the sometimes too serious world? You are very welcome to do so! Under the following link, we provide you with a shortened and compressed video in two versions:

BERNINA Christmas video for Whatsapp (ZIP, 16.5 MB)

BERNINA Christmas video for Instagram (ZIP, 16 MB)

The Whatsapp video is in landscape format, the Instagram video is square.

If you click on the link, the ZIP file will automatically download to your computer. You will usually find it in the Downloads folder, but this depends on your device and your local settings.

Unzip the ZIP and the video is available as an MP4 file. You can then upload it to Instagram, Whatsapp and other channels and hopefully bring a smile to many people’s faces! Please use the hashtag #BERNINAxmas2022 on Instagram.

A big thank you to the authors

At BERNINA, we look back on a colorful year. Our blog featured a rainbow of articles on sewing, embroidery and quilting, matching our collaboration with designer Kaffe Fassett. In this context, I would like to say a special thank you to our blog authors, who wrote these articles and put their heart and soul into ensuring that you, dear readers, found fresh inspiration and ideas for colorful creations on the blog every day.

You can post your comment until January 2, 2023 at midnight.

So there is only one thing left to say: Thank you! Without your interest, your many comments and the photos of your work, the blog would not be what it is.

Kindest regards
Jasmin

I love the projects that inspire me to create.  I made the Advent donkey ornament recently and it is adorable.

I really enjoyed the advent project series. I got a couple new ideas for my handmade ornament collection. Thank you! I would definitely like to see similar content again next advent. I would love to see an actual fabric advent calendar project. I remember I had one as a kid that was designed to look like a Christmas tree and each of days was an felt ornament to attach to the tree with Velcro.

Advent calendars are such fun! I would love to see more ornaments and small gifts covered next year. Always searching for ideas for my crafting friends.

Love the blog and lots of interesting ideas. Love the presser feet videosFor next year perhaps the presser feet could have a Southern Hemisphere Christmas at the beach or they could visit Santa or decorate a tree or make egg nog or even volunteer in a soup kitchen

I love getting ideas on ways to use different feet (and the gift ideas to sew up are great).  I really would enjoy articles about clothing patterns and tailoring techniques.

I love this site. It has the best resources available. Unfortunately my 40+ year old Bernina died yesterday I will have to save up for a new one. These are great for small projects that can be done in one day.

I’ve only had my Bernina 770QE for a short time and the courage to embroider snowflakes designs for Christmas gifts. It’s been a learning curve and enjoying every moment.
