Creative, clever, and a little bit chaotic – that’s Kylie from Kylie and the Machine! If you’ve recently seen a sewing label with a cheeky saying that made you smile, chances are it’s hers. Kylie is the founder of the popular label KATM. What started as a small DIY project in her living room is now an international business with fans around the globe – and even its own podcast!
In our interview, Kylie takes us behind the scenes: she shares her beginnings, favourite projects, the cost of replacing car key remotes, and why she sometimes dreams of a place where no one asks questions and someone just washes her hair. 😄
💥 And the best part? At the end of the interview, we’re giving away an exclusive goodie bundle from Kylie! So: read on, get inspired – and with a bit of luck, you could soon be holding a piece of KATM in your own hands.
Interview with Kylie from KATM
Dear Kylie, who are you? Please describe yourself in a few words.
I’m an introverted extrovert that needs to be doing things with my hands all the time – that’s how I process things! I like solving problems. I just turned 40 and am ready for the next phase of life. I’m from Brisbane, Australia and I’m proudly part First Nations. As an only child, crafts and art were my main form of entertainment growing up – and I never really stopped! Some people think I’m funny, but my humour is very dry and not everyone gets it. I always want the best quality things, but I don’t always have the budget – which is why I’ve been through quite a few sewing machines. I started with a Brother, moved to a Janome, but once I switched to BERNINA there was no turning back.
Your label is called Kylie and the Machine. Where did the name come from?
Kylie and The Machine was never really meant to be a business name. It was just my Instagram handle because I really liked Florence And The Machine at the time and thought it was a fun pun. Now it’s our business name, but we usually use the acronym KATM – the full name is a bit of a mouthful.
How did the business come about and how has it developed since it was founded?
It started at home, when I was sewing clothes for myself and my family and wanted to add labels to make the garments feel more finished. Instead of something like “Kylie Made It”, I wanted funny or cute little messages, and ideally a range of labels to choose from depending on the project or the recipient. I decided to order a big batch, pack them into small sets, and see if I could sell most of them and keep a few. The response was massive – overwhelming! And it just slowly grew from there into what KATM is today. I launched the first batch of labels in 2017, and now we have an office, a team, and a podcast. This is our seventh year in business!
It takes courage to go self-employed, and not everyone in the DIY world finds success. What was it like for you? Were there tough times? When did you realise it was working?
It became clear things were going well when we started getting wholesale orders – mostly from independent sewing shops around the world. That meant I’d made something people wanted, put it out there, and shop owners believed in it enough to sell it to their customers. We never approached wholesalers; the demand just came in! In 2019 we moved into our current HQ and began paying a commercial rent/ lease. COVID was a boom time – many in the sewing world can probably relate. Afterwards came a kind of post-COVID crash due to shifts in global economies and rising living costs. We’re very lucky to have a fantastic finance manager who made sure we made smart decisions to ride out the ‘dips’. The toughest time was late 2021, when we had to make some hard choices and changes to packaging, pricing, product range and the team to stay profitable and sustainable. So many small fabric and haberdashery (notions) stores are closing. We’re hoping to stick around for the long haul!
What products are part of the range today?
We started out with labels and now we have Denim Hardware & Kits, Patterns, Sewing Accessories including Fabric ID Tape and Label Gluestick, plus a yearly Label Advent Calendar.
Do you have a bestseller?
Yes! Our recently launched Fabric ID Tape is probably our best-selling product – we’ve sold over 20,000 rolls so far, more than any other individual product. A mini version is coming soon, so stay tuned!
Where are your labels made?
They’re made in China, where all the latest label-weaving technology and looms are.
Is there a product that’s especially close to your heart?
The KATM Label Gluestick was in the works for what felt like forever! Seeing it finally produced and being loved by sewists all over the world is an amazing feeling. We’ve received so many beautiful messages and reviews – some from people who struggle with pins due to mobility issues who’ve said it’s helped them keep enjoying the craft.
Do you ship your products all over the world? What impact do tariffs have on shipments to the US?
Yes, absolutely. We are so proud to have KATM customers all around the globe and count ourselves lucky to have so many wonderful wholesalers too. Currently the tariffs are at 30% for importing our products into the US if a customer orders directly from our website. We are keeping a close eye on the situation since it seems to change quite often!
Are you planning to expand the brand further? Are you going to take over the world?
That’s the plan… world domination 😝
We love your unique pieces and bold designs! How would you describe your style and concept?
My personal handmade style is about pieces that feel physically comfortable – good fit is everything. But for KATM, I love playing with bold colours and fun combinations in our sewing labels and accessories. My own style is more low-key.
What did you do before you founded Kylie and the machine?
I’ve done many things; tattoo artist, retail management, bar work, insurance sales and becoming a mum…
You’ve recently started a collaboration with Claire Ritchie. How did that come about?
We happen to know Claire personally – not only is she the loveliest human, but her artwork works perfectly as label designs. We knew our customers would love sewing miniature versions of her art into their garments. We launched our first collaboration in 2020, and the new ‘Full Bloom’ collection is our second!
Aside from these collaborations, are all KATM designs created by you? Can you describe the process from idea to finished product?
We usually start with a concept or a phrase. Then we think about how someone might use it and in what context. That helps guide the style, design, and overall aesthetic.
You also produce a podcast. What’s it about?
The Sewing Club Podcast is like a book club – but for sewing! Each episode, Gemma (my co-host) and I choose a pattern from the sewing community, make it, and review it. We announce the pattern in advance so listeners can sew along at home.
When did you discover your passion for sewing, and how did you learn the craft?
In 2012, I was pregnant and decided I had to make a quilt for the baby. I wasn’t working and living in suburban Canada, so it was more about having something to do. I found a sewing machine in a cupboard and decided this would be my thing for the next few months. I found joy in making during nap times and always looked forward to the next nap-time project. I learned everything by following pattern instructions!
What’s your favourite thing to sew? Has that changed over time?
Right now, I love sewing bags – they’re functional, don’t require fitting, and I can be more adventurous with colour choices I wouldn’t wear in clothing.
Are you also a quilter?
Quilting is actually what got me into sewing in the first place. But I later found I preferred the instant gratification that comes with garment sewing.
What do you love most about sewing?
Creating something from raw materials.
What part do you like least?
Cutting out PDF patterns – not a fan.
What’s the most elaborate or unusual thing you’ve made from fabric?
An “X-ray” dress made from black silk organza. I used 1/8” French seams and added flounces, zippers, and all sorts of details.
Where is your creative journey taking you?
Nowhere in particular – I just love having this constant flow of creativity.
Your husband runs the “Waffle Pottery”. Is your home as colourful and creative as we imagine?
It definitely is – there are a lot of strong personalities living in our house!
How do you spend your time when you’re not sewing? Do you have hobbies to balance things out?
I dabble in all kinds of handcrafts, with varying levels of success. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with a 3D printer and learning the software to design 3D models.
Is there any advice you’d give to someone new to sewing?
You don’t need to have sewn in school or as a kid – there are so many free and accessible resources online to help you learn.
What are you currently working on? Can you share a sneak peek?
I’m cutting out three pairs of jeans, a pair of dungarees, and a denim jacket – all for the re-launch of our Denim Hardware Kits.
We hear you’re a bit of a BERNINA collector! Which machine do you use most and why?
I’ve got my travel machine – the B 325. Then there’s the B 570 QE from around 2015, the B 570 Tula Pink, the Record 830 from the 70s, and a 910. The older 570 QE is my main go-to. I also have two BERNINA overlockers – one at home, one at work. I love having machines set up for denim: one with regular thread, one with topstitch thread.
Do you have a favourite BERNINA accessory?
I love the vintage presser feet – especially the vintage straight stitch foot #13.
We think we spotted a BERNINA in your graphics. Take it as a compliment! So, when are you getting your BERNINA tattoo?
That’s a great question! I do have another tattoo planned… we’ll see!
Fun facts
- What kind of music do you listen to while sewing?
I listen to hz frequencies to calm my brain - Your favourite place?
Hanging out in my hammock on my deck, looking at the trees while having some cat cuddles - What do you spend money on unnecessarily?
Forgetting to cancel subscriptions, late fees, cancellation fees, replacement car key remote fees from putting them in the washing machine. - Favourite fabric right now? All-time favourite?
Linen – it behaves how you want it to, is strong and lasts a long time, I feel like it’s the best value in terms of how much a RTW linen garment would cost in a shop vs to make at home. - Favourite podcast? (you own doesn’t count)
The Science Vs podcast - Order or organized chaos?
Organised chaos - How big is your fabric stash?
It’s actually not that big. It’s stashed in many areas so maybe it’s bigger than I think but I’ve been slowly working through it for a while now. I generally buy fabric with a project in mind, instead of stashing. - Trousers or skirt?
Trousers - If you had infinite time, what project would you tackle?
I would make a big wedding dress; I’m already married but it would be fun to make a wedding dress for myself - Sewing motto?
Always colour match your threads - How many unfinished objects?
Probably less than as many fingers as I have. - In your next life, you will be
… a koala - Who was the last person you gave a compliment? What for?
I think compliments all the time, they just don’t always make it out of my mouth. - What are you particularly good at?
Figuring things out that I don’t know anything about. DIY anything in general! - What don’t you care about at all?
Sudoku - Biggest sewing disaster so far?
I blocked them out of my memory. - Undo seams or “oh, never mind”?
Undo seams always. - Where do you really want to go?
Somewhere quiet where no one is asking me questions and people are just feeding me food and washing my hair. But if that place doesn’t exist I would like to explore Europe. - Your secret shopping tip for sewing fans (offline)
I have a trick for finding out if white fabric is going to be see-through. I hold it up to the tattoos on my forearm but you could also do this with a watch or bangle. Also, if there’s a mirror in the store I bring the bolt of fabric over to the mirror to see if it looks good on me or the colour suits me. - Clips or pins (which ones)?
I used to be pins, now I’m more of a glue or clips person. The KATM Label Gluestick I use in most applications where I would previously use pins. - Do your sewing machines have names?
One of my sewing machines has a name; I used to collect Bernina Record 830’s second hand and refurbish them to re-sell on my website ‘Bernina Babes’ with a guy called Martin (Brisbane’s Bernina guy who’d been around from the 70’s). This one machine came in with a take-up lever completely snapped off. Martin pulled it apart and put it back together and it works better than any of the other machines I’d ever used. I vowed I’d never sell this one…its name is Stella!

Very impressive! Would love to add some of your labels to my sewing creations!
I love Kylie’s Labels. I am busy making quilts, children’s dresses and other projects for gifts, especially for my Grand Daughters. Kylie’s lovely labels add the finishing touch to any project. I would love to win the giveaway.Congratulations Kylie, your labels are like a little bit of Brisbane sunshine! From a Sydney Girl!!
Ich würde diese Etiketten gerne meine Handarbeiten ausprobieren, denn damit bekommen alle Sachen ihren ihre eigene Geltung
Love the labels and need some for my knitting and sewing as I’m always mixing up the back and front of my garments.
These labels are fantastic, I always wanted to try them. And I am just about to finish up several sets of potholders and oven mittens for which these would be great. I am also sewing birthday and Christmas presents which would be even better with some labels!
I love the KATM labels and have purchased them before, but it would be so nice to have the variety in this giveaway. I am going to keep my fingers crossed.🙂
I give away everything I make. Labels would definitely add a cute detail that my current gifts are lacking.
I am always busy making gifts. It just make it more special if the product have a special lable on it. I used up all my lables I had made for me.
I would love this kit! I really should label my projects. Love these unique labels! Thanks
I need the kit just because I LOVE LOVE LOVE it
I need the kit just because I LOV LOVE LOVE it
I need the KATM advent calendar. Most of my sewing, crafting an quilting is about Christmas. Gifts, sales, clothing, yarn projects and decor. I just love themed decorations.
Hi, I’m an ‘out there’ Nanny who doesn’t do a lot of sewing for our Grandkids, but I do enjoy sewing for myself 7ni love creating quirky items for my friends. I would love some labels to attach to these item, & thank you for your Podcasts !
I absolutely need this wonderful KATM pack because I’m back at sewing as a grandma for my grandmother-less friends who can’t sew and kids want labels or it’s not ‘real’ clothing. Help me clothe my little mokopuna!
KATM labels would be perfect to finish off my sewing delights for me 2 grand-children – who still rely on the label to tell the back from the front
I would love this pack – the labels would add the final classy style to anything I make – usually for my 5 grandchildren – I have quite a stash for me made for me – this would give me extra motivation to get back into sewing for me too
Great way to prove I actually did make something or at least the label. Love the sayings. Need to put them on the outside of the item.
I would love to try her labels! It would make my quilts and clothing feel much more professional. I have already tried the fabric description labels and they are fantastic!!
As a grandmother whom adore her grandchildren I want to label them with my love. They must wear a memory with them. These labels will be great to use.
I love making bags from second hand jeans to sell in our local Op Shop and for friends who ask for a custom made bag. These labels that KATM is making would add some fun aspects as decorations especially for customers with a sense of humour and they offer lots of different options.
I’m hoping to teach the girls (ladies) at our newly formed, local ‘She Shed’ all about bag making and adding KATM’s tags to their bags would certainly make for extra talking points! I also dream of teaching on a uniform set of Bernina machines, but that’s a whole other dream for our little charity.
Wow, the opportunity that can come from a simple idea- and then all the hard work!! Your labels are irreverent and fun. Much better than the “ handmade with love”- though if that’s what people like that’s okay. I just love the originality- your labels would be – those fun- find the hidden label messages stitched into projects. Thank you
I am currently learning about labels. I would love a prize bundle to broaden my horizons!
This is absolutely amazing. I really need some of these labels. I have been looking for labels for the clothes I sew for myself and my family and there is nothing like this where I live here in Durban. Currently I have no labels to put on my clothes that I sew… so that is definitely why I need them.
Loved this article! Very inspiring. My projects need these labels! I’ve been looking at labels for years but never bought any. These look like my style of sewing and humor. Please enter me in the drawing
Isn’t it interesting that a simple idea can turn into a flourishing business. Thank you for sharing and continued success!!
I love quirky and fun, my bags and projects need these labels! Thanks for the opportunity to win a set!
I have always really liked these labels, but I don’t get to the end of enough sewing projects to warrant getting any. However, you have given me the great idea to produce my own labels on my Bernina – and no need to ship right across the world, so great for the planet too.
I was so happy to find this information I have to label all my husbands poverty and this will be a big help
I NEED the ‘I’m Probably Thinking About Sewing’ patch because sometimes that’s as close as I can get to sewing!
I need this giveaway! My KATM label stash is getting dangerously low and they are all I use. Besides, I missed the 2024 advent calendar and still suffering massive FOMO 😢
Love the cheekiness of the labels. Would love to share with my sewing friends.
Love stickers but your labels are much better! Off to your website now to see if anyone stocks them near me!
Really good labels especially “f**king fabulous “ . Made me spill tea !
Would love to win some labels. Thanks!
Sewing is my creative outlet! I very much relate to your journey, and I would love a little of your fun touch to my garments!
Why do I need to win – because I am so behind in my labeling. I was also given some hand made items from my long gone grandmother and 96 year old mother that I are lacking labels. Enjoyed the interview.
I would like to win this since it’s my birthday on the 5th of June and my wedding anniversary on the 27th June. I have five grandchildren and would love these to use in future projects for them!
I love KATM labels, use them for my knitting and sewing, and one can never have enough!
Back to garment sewing after twenty years. New Bernina (old one was 40 years old bought with my first pay packet), new fresh styles that fit better than rtw, clever labels to prove it’s me made . Brilliant combo.
How thrilling to see what kan be worked out with a sewing maskin!
Loved reading about KATM. I am always on the look out for cute labels!
Queenslander!! Thank you for being the one that “went there” and created labels that reflect what we are all thinking. They are such fun and add that dash of spice.
Oh my! I need sassy labels for my sassy sewing. Awesome interview Bernina, I feel like I now know Kylie and we should be beasties!
Make that BESTIES
This has been a fresh and enlightening read for a change, thank you!
Really surprised at the language on some of the labels.
I’d love to use these labels for all my handmade crafts, because I’m a granny who likes to graft while also enjoying a jolly good laugh😍
I love your cutesy labels. I have 3 daughters and one grand daughter who would so enjoy these! Especially on a cute Pallas Pouch
Labels are the finishing touch that completes any project 🪡 🧵
Gorgeous looking labels , perfect for so may me made projects ♥️
I received my first sewing machine, a Bernina, this week and I would love to be able to add labels to my future projects!
I live in America. The stress is real. Fun labels would help a lot.
This was a delightful blog. Thanks very much!!
I would love this prize! Then I can tell the front of my garment from the back lol.
I love all things KATM. I bought my daughters and I matching socks as we all have our favourite labels. Choosing which label to add to a project I make for them is such a necessary part of the planning process.
Very, very cleaver. Love it.
I love these lables. So fun to add to a project
I’ve been a fan and user of KATM labels since not long after Kylie launched in 2017, and she’s a fantastic human. Sewing is my escape from my everyday experience as a late late-diagnosed ADHD, chronic migraine suffering, perimenopausal Gen Xer in her late 40s – the KATM sweary labels really help sum up a whole lot of that experience!
Definitely need one of the kits. Like the labels and have thought of making some of my own. Bought printer paper to make some. Always in need of glue stick as so many uses. Cant wait to get started
These labels are a perfect cheeky, tongue in the cheek way to round a finished project off, making it extra special!!! Fun for me and the person receiving it, especially if they don’t expect it.
I ‘figgin’ j’adore KATM and NEED this ‘ooh la la’ prize to add to my own ‘diy magic’.
I love the labels!
I need these labels! I have some handmade clothing I’m no longer in love with, and these labels would ensure they would make it onto thrift racks for resale! Thanks for a lovely interview—I think these kinds of stories (and questions) are amazing at creating multiple points of connection!
These labels are adorable!
I love advent calendars and this one looks so lovely 💕 I believe you can never have enough labels. The ruler looks so amazing. I loved reading the article and enjoy the enthusiasm for making your own garments, quilts, and bags. Such a fun read.
My Grandma made this for me!
I just love the selection in the 2024 calendar and have been eyeing it up for a while, especially the Gessica Maio designs to make something for my daughter. KATM labels always bring a smile from the recepients of my projects. The gluestick for the labels would be so helpful too!
KATM labels would be the perfect answer to a looooong search for a perfect label!
I love giving cheeky gifts to my friends and family and these labels on my gifts will just make them smile every time they use it. Love your work, Kylie!
What a fantastic giveaway. Labels give your makes a superior finish. Even if you can’t see them, you know they’re there. I’d love to win such an amazing prize ❤️
Wow so much goodness here! I never can afford to buy KATM labels and would love to win this! I always hear how good they are and admire all the fantastic colour and designs she has
What a fun article! Reading it has given me the freedom to put on them what I really feel. At 84 years I can now feel free to use those words. After all what can they do but chase me to the cemetery. I will admit on my Bernina 880+ and software I have always designed my own labels. But who knows I may change my mind.
You are an inspiration to other sewers. thank You
I added my very first label to a Crimson Christmas quilt this morning. ” You better love this, it took forever” is on the label. I love it! Need more labels!Right now my husband is watching a video on maintaining my 801 Bernina from the 70’s. It’s my retreat machine. It needs some loving.
Like labeling my creations, hate designing a label. Love that someone else (KATM) has the solution for that. Most of my sewing is centered on my many grandchildren (27) and they love the little love tags we call labels. Thank you for this opportunity.
Such an interesting label, the interview was great to get an insight into the history. Thank you
Kylie is such an inspiration. I’ve been following her on Insta and listening to her Podcast for a while now and I see her as one of the leaders in attracting younger people to sewing and crafting. It’s fabulous to see her success, she obviously thinks about her buyers and her products reflect that thought – she ‘gets’ us! I’d so love to win because these products are just plain good!
I learned to sew in the 70s on my mum’s beautiful Bernina Record. When my son’s wife was expecting identical twin girls last year I knew I NEEDED to channel my (deceased ) Mum so was thrilled when I sourced one from a Bernina collector. With the arrival of our two new grandbabies, I can’t stop creating on my Bernina:I have lots of creative projects that are functional, fabulous and one of a kind. I’d love this pack to add a fun message to garments and toys I make for them, and a way for them to celebrate their unique gifts and talents. I already have some gorgeous KATM labels, just going to need a lot more! I’m super keen to try the new glue too!
I need these in my life because I have 3 small people who take away from my sewing time, so when I do get to sew, I need it to be as fun filled as possible! In fact, they’d probably end up on something made for said small people, so they’d appreciate them too! I loved your comment about Stella – I’d like to know how exactly it “worked better” than all the others of the same model? Is it just a feeling you have when using it or is it lack of things going wrong for example? I’ve only ever owned 2 machines and my new one is better than my old one, that’s all I know!!!
A quilt without a label is like a book without an author! After carefully choosing the pattern and the fabric, and spending countless hours measuring, cutting, stitching and quilting – it would be GREAT to have labels READY to use!
Hey Kylie!Wonderful labels, very creative! I am a Bernina lover as well. My Bernina 707 mini has been sewing since 1971, when it was shipped to me in Canada. It has brought much joy to my life and my family and friends. I have sewn bridal outfits to halloween costumes and even a fake fur coat. Love it. Now I make a lot of cozies and would love to win some labels.
Great article. I love the humor of the labels. They would be great on my knitting bags,
those would be great and fun to have to add to items that i make—— as of right now i do not have any type of labels to add —– enjoyed hearing about you
What a fun thing to add to handmade clothing. They would make me smile whenever I wore a piece of “my” clothing.
I too am a Bernina nerd. My oldest dates back to 1967 and I own 5 at the moment. I would love to be inspired to do labels by seeing what KATM has done.
I too am a Bernina nerd. My oldest dates back to 1967 and I own 5 at the moment. I would love to be inspired to do labels by seeing what KATMhas done.
I didn’t know I needed labels until I read this post and saw Kylie’s fun labels.
I love all these products, but what I NEED are humorous labels for my own clothes! I will be watching for new products from this lovely creative mind. Brava!
Love labels! So fun!
Great to hear what a fellow Canadian has achieved in this space. I started sewing clothing during Covid – the labels are in line with my quirky sense of humor – would love to have them as part of my sewing kit.
Needed to keep the chaos under control in my sewing space. Avid bag maker at the moment: so much satisfaction completing a project and attaching a KATM label. Thank you all so much. Thoroughly enjoyed this interview/post.
I spend many happy hours on my Bernina machine so think these fun labels would add that special something to my creations.
Just to personalise my garments which I’ve just got back into making after retiring as a paramedic. Thank you
I believe we sewists often neglect ourselves. I really need to treat myself better! As a fellow Bernina collector, I can relate to KATM! Living in a rural community, I have not seen her products; this has been a great introduction to her line of products!
I love these labels, and use them all the time, especially for articles I am making for family and friends! Thanks Katie.Great interview btw
Loved this interview! Thanks for the introduction to Kylie and her quirky labels. I would love to add them to my collection.
I love sewing for family and friends this kit would help me personalize them
I really wish I labeled the last few things I made.
What not to love about KATM? Of course I need a bundle, and to spread the fun!
I would love to win one of these kits because I sew a lot of items on my Bernina 790 for my grandkids and always trying to think of clever labels to add the finishing touch.
Fascinating to see how an idea can grow into a business. I do hope you are able to continue for as long as you want to!
I really want labels for my sewing, especially, “You can’t buy ths.”
These are awesome! I need to get better about labelling my makes.
I’d love to win these labels as they make my friends smile when the receive gifts
Hi there! I think it would absolutely improve my sewing to have some of your awesome glue!! To help me improve seam accuracy and to adhere your cute labels!! Love your products! Thank you!!
I have JUST gotten into labels — it took a while for me to feel like my sewing was good enough to warrant a label. Once I put a label on, it feels like I’m making it clear that it’s homemade. I bought a few labels (the gorgeous KATM x Claire Ritchie collab) but now that I’ve sewn on some, I want to sew them on everything! I will also say that the KATM fabric ID tape is one of my most essential sewing room tools. More than anything to have a record of the width of fabric. I can never remember that, and it’s so helpful for planning what patterns I have enough fabric for. I loved reading this interview!
I love your story! I absolutely NEED these to add to my personal stash of labels because they’re AWESOME 😎.
I love to create something different that makes me feel something! Quilting is my passion.
Briony
Loved the humour and quirky responses. Would love some labels to finish off my next quilts.
Great interview with an amazing creative maker! I would love to win this awesome bundle! Thanks for the chance!
It would be great to win this prize so that I can show people what I’ve made. Plus I never win anything so it would be nice to win something this good.
Love the vibe of your labels!
What a fun interview with a fun maker! KATM labels would be the perfect finishing touch to my projects! And the glue stick………..the perfect way to finally stop sewing over pins!!!!!!! 🙂
What a fun idea!!! I am so impressed with her creativity. I love to sew, too…and understand how you can get drawn into the creative process. My husband says he a widower when my creative juices get flowing. I would love to have Kylie’s labels for my projects. WAY TO GO KATM!!!! Thank you for sharing.
I can’t get enough of Kylie’s labels! But now there’s even more stuff! Now, if evah there was a need for a label storage box, that’s on my list. How about it?
Love your ideas and being strong enough to follow theough!
Oh I Need a kit.I mean Please. I need a kit Please. I am a micro enterprise startup with bagmaking and I have not found decent labels available at an affordable price.

I absolutely need these. I make sew many things and I need to start labeling them.
Hello, what an inspiring interview. My sweet neighbor lady, Shari, who is 86 just had shoulder surgery after falling and breaking her back and shoulder. I would love to win this for her, to get her spirit pumping again. She loves to sew and quilt and hasn’t been able to do it for a while. She is a spunky person and would appreciate your labels to put in Quilts of Valor which she gives to Veterans. Thanks for such a great article!
Would love to have a label kit, quirky labels add something very special to handmade (with love and some swearing) items.
Wonderful interview. Am trying to start my own patterns and your journey was very inspiring. I would love to demonstrate my offerings with your labels. I like that a different label makes an entirely different gift.
I love using these labels when I make clothes for my family . A gift pack would be a wonderful addition to my collection . The glue stick looks amazing.
Oh my goodness! Those labels are too cute!!! They are going to make my sewing creations more fun. I need them in my life!!
I think these labels is just the missing link to pizazz up my items that I make, and would really love a pack.I live in South Africa.
I absolutely love these labels!!!
Great interview! I love kylie’s labels – I’m a bit of a labelaholic, and label pretty much everything in my home! I always add a homemade label to my projects. I’d love to win some of Kylies labels.
Oh, I SO NEED these labels in my sewing life! Love them All!!
I love these labels and see many ideas for using. Great interview!
Usually when I’m at the end of a project, I just want to get started on the next one and not bother taking the time to design a label. Having KATM labels would make this dilemma disappear!!
I absolutely need this package with labels because my homemade labels suck!
So fun to see your labels! I need to keep my eyes peeled for them in a shop near me! They would look amazing on my bags, garments, and quilts!
Wow – what great ideas and products. Go girl! So glad you pursued your goals.
I commend you for sticking to your guns with regard to succeeding in your business. I had a business for 10 years and didn’t do any sewing in those years, but prevoiusly spent my whole life garment sewing from the age of about 12, and learned on a treadle! I am now retired and can’t get enough of all things quilting. I was always a Pfaff owner but was very disappointed in the last purchase and turned to Bernina and haven’t looked back. I am so glad there is such innovation in Australia. Your labels would put the finishing touch to the quilts I am making!
I absolutely Need a label kit it my life! I have been making bags, quilts, and shirts that need the finishing touch of labels. The quirkier, the better!
I “need” one of the label prize packs as I have never used labels in sewing but make and gift many handmade garments
