Hello!

My name is Alie, 32 and I live in the Netherlands with my husband and 4 children. For as long as I can remember, I have loved being able to sew. When I was very young, my mother used to sew. Unfortunately, I was never able to learn from her because there was no time for that in the large family I grew up in.
I did, however, always ride horses and play music fanatically. I studied at the conservatory, play the piano and worked for years as a music teacher. Even now, I still have a piano practice at home and give piano lessons.

In 2018, I was given an old sewing machine as a gift and learnt to sew. From the start, I loved it and soon I was sewing everything loose and loose. The weekly sewing lessons ensured that I learnt all the techniques correctly, at home I continued to sew and learn more and more.

When I started an account on instagram, I discovered a real sewing community and that gave sewing an even bigger boost.
Sewing, sharing and inspiring is something I really enjoy, so now that the BERNINA team has asked me to become an ambassador and start sewing on the 480, I am very excited to get started!

I prefer to make clothes for my family, so what you can expect is mainly clothes inspiration for boys, girls, women and men!
