By day I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and by evening and weekends I am a quilting enthusiast! I have ALWAYS admired quilts and wished I could make them. I inherited my MIL's od Kenmore sewing machine and taught myself how to use it. I was fortunate enough to be able to set up my own sewing room. I started with old cut up sweaters to teach myself and made a pretty cool quilt from them. I then tried a jelly roll baby 2 years ago and now you can find me working on multiple projects at once. I have made so many quilts in just 2 short years, still on that Kenmore AND a Singer featherweight my husband bought me for my birthday in May. I also recently purchase a used longarm and have begun the task of learning free motion quilting. I love the custom quilting look!
