I began quilting in the early 2000s and developed a love of free motion machine embroidery and quilting and use of colour. My work is influenced by my environment- the outdoor space and greenery and the fact that I live in Auckland, NZ with its Pacific influence - but also by places I've lived and visited.
My other great love is gardening so it is not surprising that floral images appear regularly in my work.
I am lucky to be able to share my joy in quilting through teaching around the country.
