I have a Janome 15000, BabyLock Tiara long arm, Brother Quilter, and my next purchase is going to be the Bernina Long Arm with computer, I retire in 107 days and I plan on quilting full time. I like to design quilts based on things I have seen, I have waited to retire at 70 because I wanted to save enough money to purchase the Bernina Long arm. I saw it at the Road Show to Ca 3 years ago and fell in love.

I'm a geeky pharmacist with a creative underbelly. I learned to sew in 4H 57 years ago. I started quilting about 35 years ago when my best friend had a baby and I wanted to make a quilt. I never looked back. I am still learning. this quilt along taught me to paper piece and as a result made a wonderful paper pieced elephant quilt for my daughter's wedding
