I’m Leanne, a sewist, designer & brand ambassador for Bernina Sewing Machines & Minerva Fabrics. I learned to sew in 2008 & for several years I ran an Etsy shop selling my handmade fashion accessories & jewellery. I was also a regular contributor to Mollie Makes Magazine, sharing dozens of tutorials & book reviews with the DIY community. Along the way, my (now) husband & I moved from London to Germany, had 3 kids & founded a couple of cosy Airbnbs here in the Alps.

In 2020, upon rediscovering the indie sewing community, my passion for sewing was reinvigorated & I’ve been on a mission to sew myself a #memade wardrobe ever since. I’m inspired by the slow fashion movement & am currently teaching myself surface design for fabric, as well as how to drape & draft my own sewing patterns.
