Hi Ippy! It’s finished. I used foundation paper piecing to avoid all the half triangles. My sewing needs all the help it can get. It’s not perfect but I’m pleased with the results. Did you do the first QAL a few years ago?
You’ll be happy it’s now complete Sharon. I have never used foundation paper piecing before – do you just use normal A4 paper and what stitch length is best as you’ll be ripping the paper off and I wouldn’t want the stitches to come out? Any tips would be great.
I’m going to give it a try as the triangles were quite tricky for me and be prepared if there is more FP and I could opt for the FPP. Thank you for telling me👍🏻
Yes I did take part in Irene’s first QAL and enjoyed it. It had bigger pieces which was great for my first QAL.
