I’m enjoying playing with the layout of these blocks! As I wrote in my last post, I’m approaching this as a Quilt As You Go quilt, so many of these blocks are already quilted, most are not connected yet. (A few *are* connected though! I hope I don’t regret their placement!)
I am machine sewing the fronts together, cutting the batting to meet in the back, then hand sewing the backing together in the back, if that makes sense. My first time QAYG so kind of watching a lot of videos and figuring out as I go! I didn’t want any sashing, I like how the blocks look right up next to each other.
When I took this pic I had seven more blocks to go, now I’m down to six, just finished my Tennessee Star.
