Final Sugaridoo Quilt Top

This is an entry to a Sugaridoo QAL. Quilt top. I ran out of dark blue accent fabric (somehow the fabric went to a black hole), so had to buy 6 different blues online (yeah, try to find the perfect match to a navy blue that is not navy blue in KONA world) and still none of them fit. The online retailer where I bought my original bundle of fabrics stopped existing and I believe this was not a KONA fabric. I went to 4 different quilting stores and found a close match (but still not it). I also ran out of the background fabric, for the sashing. I was so close. I needed only half a yard. Same issues. I did find very close match. All this search for fabrics delayed me big time. Anyway, now it’s done and I love it. I don’t think you can tell the difference in the fabrics, only I can tell. Thank you for this wonderful project. I had so much fun doing it and now seeing projects from all other participants gives me more ideas for the future.
