Description
I’ve completed Parts 1 & 2 of the Sugaridoo Bernina Quilt Along using solid pink and yellow, a white background, and a lighter (than I thought) gray. Instead of using freezer paper paper-piecing, I sewed three white-pink-white strip sets together and cut triangles using a 60 degree ruler lined up with the 2 3/4″ mark (on the seam) and the 5″ mark (on the raw edge). White strips were 2 1/2 x width of fabric, and the pink center strip was 3 1/4 x width of fabric. There was some waste, but this method allowed me to keep each piece continuous.
