I am Kirrilee from Deadly Mojo Sewing in Queensland Australia. I am a BERNINA girl through and through, I sew with a BERNINA 1530, BERNINA overlocker 800DL, a BERNINA 830 Record and recently I have been test driving a gorgeous BERNINA 335. I am a self taught sewer that has sewn since high school, children's clothing, Book Week costumes, adult costumes and charity sewing. However, for the past 5 years my focus has been creating bespoke handbags and accessories from fabric, cork and more recently leather. I have also designed and released a range of original bag making tools.
I like having fun with sewing and incorporating textured, elements into my designs. I believe that patterns are only a suggestion and mistakes are just 'design elements'. Quirky quilting is one of my favourite activities -it's my own version of free motion quilting and applique. I have the privilege of bag pattern testing for 5 bag designers worldwide.
I sew in a room aptly named The Tardis (due to to amount of fabric and sewing supplies it holds & I love making bad puns - the more you groan the better :) Feel free to come and follow my sewing journey at Deadly Mojo Sewing & Deadly Mojo Sewing Tools :)
