I finally found time to complete my Sugaridoo/Bernina quilt top! In the beginning I had three main colors. But I found that two were a little too close in hue, so I added a fourth. In so doing, I confused myself and the layout of the colors. To balance the scheme, I would have arranged them different than in this photo. However, in order to qualify for the final prize drawing, I settled for switching of just two rows. And you know what? I like it like this! Who knew that a newbie quilter could produce something this wonderful on an ancient Riccar sewing machine? Thank you, Irene and Bernina, for making this riot of fun possible! When’s then next one?
