The grandchildren were staying again this summer and, of course, they wanted to sew on Nanna’s ‘awesome’ machine. I had searched out a project for them both.
Euan (9), made a ‘snappy bag’ and I followed the free pattern by Rose and Heather at Sew Stylish Boutique. Here we are ready to start.
Here we are very pleased with our progress.
Now to insert the metal tape measure strips.
Finished and pleased as Punch.
Definitely within the scope of a 9 year old. We then wrote up the process for his sewing badge at Cub Scouts.
