Unzip the zip file containing the pattern

After downloading, you will have a zip file. In the extracted folder you will find:

  • Sewing instructions with information on materials, cutting out and sewing
  • A pattern in A4 format. You can print this out on your regular printer at home and stick the sheets together. Make sure you print out the pattern using the “original size” setting. Check the test square to make sure the pattern has been printed out in the correct size.

Please note that clicking the download button will automatically download the zip file to your computer. You will have to unzip it to access the PDF pattern. In Windows, you do this by right clicking on the file and clicking on the menu item “Extract all”. On a Mac, you can unzip zip files by double clicking the left mouse button.

Downloaded files are generally automatically put into the downloads folder, but this depends on the operating system, the device used and your local settings. If you download the file on your smartphone and cannot find the file or cannot unzip it, please try using a desktop computer.

Hi, Is there any way to get the instructions only in English, the patterns themselves are not an issue just the instructions. I accidently downloaded from the German site last year. Think I have done this with a few by mistake. Any help would be apprecited. Thanks

Attention:  Jasmin GraberPlease read my response below.  The link to download your free monthly patterns is defective, as verified by Bernina of America Customer Service.  I attempted to download the “Doro” cardigan within the month of February 2021, and was unable to access the pattern while it was free.  I would sincerely appreciate a reply from you, since I made every effort to download this pattern before the expiration date.  If you can email the pattern to me, that will be acceptable.  I will need to print it on 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper.  If needed, you may contact Bernina of America Customer Service representative, Lynn, to verify my attempts to download the pattern.  Sincerely,  Alberta Chappell

I attempted to download the “Doro” cardigan jacket in the month of February when it was free.  The link to download the pattern was defective.  I reported this issue to Bernina of America customer service, who verified the defective line, and was provided an email address to contact Inspirations staff.  I DID NOT receive a reply from Inspirations staff and Bernina of America could not help.  My correspondence with both Bernina of America and Inspirations was before February 28, 2021.  I have also attempted to download the pattern for the March free pattern; again, the link was defective.  I am hereby requesting that you send me the pattern for the “Doro” jacket because I tried for 10 days to download it within the month of February.  I have been using Bernina top-of-the-line models for 50 years and am a retired award-winning Bernina dealer.  Your response to my request will be greatly appreciated.  Sincerely, Alberta Chappell, Email:  [email protected]
