Claudia Geiser, who was born in 1977, discovered her passion for sewing, handicrafts and drawing as a little girl.
In 2007, shortly before the birth of her first daughter, she began, with great attention to detail, to design multi-coloured sewing ideas for kids with a high standard of workmanship. At the same time, she founded her own company and since then has sold the models she designs under the label Il Coccolino, either as a sewing kit or instructions, as well as making exclusive unique items on request.
In addition to her online store, in 2013 she opened a shop in the Westend area of Munich, which is devoted entirely to sewing for children. These days, many pieces at the small family firm are manufactured according to the wishes of her two daughters and are thus tailored and made for little hands!
Claudia Geiser regularly writes articles on the subject of sewing for the magazines 'Patchwork Spezial', 'Patchwork Magazin' and various other specialist magazines.
As a course instructor, she passes on her extensive knowledge of creating appliqué patterns on a sewing machine to all kinds of sewing enthusiasts - including at the BERNINA Creative Center in Steckborn.
